It exports the results to Audio and MIDI files, so you can use the final result immediately. However, while these workarounds get the job done, they get in the way of creative flow a bit because you can't hear your ideas in context.Odesi Alternatives: 25+ Music Production and similar apps | AlternativeTo (function()() Skip to main contentSkip to site searchPlatformsCategoriesOnlineWindowsAndroidMaciPhoneLinuxiPadAndroid TabletProductivitySocialDevelopmentBackupRemote Work & StudyLoginSign up HomeAudio & MusicOdesiAlternativesOdesi AlternativesOdesi is described as 'helps you write hot tracks. Certainly in this workflow you end up with MIDI that needs to be tweaked anyway (to remove the crufty ideas). The work around would be to manually do a copy paste, or to worry about that after the MIDI is in your DAW of choice. It would be cool if there was some sort of "auto extend" option you could tick off in the properties for chords, bass and drums that tell it that they should auto insert full measures if the other tracks get longer, so that this doesn't happen. ![]() However when you stop recording, you end up with an arbitrarily long melody track, but the other tracks still stop after 4 measures. While that's recording, the other channels keep looping around like you would expect, so you hear the rest of the song while trying out melody ideas. Then I pull out the MIDI keyboard, hit record, and sort of "jam out" melodic ideas. My feature suggestion (assuming there's not already a way to do that this I've missed): Ability to set specific Bass/Drums/Chords layers to keep "repeating" their measures to maintain a length consistent with the current melody track.įor example, say I set up 4 measures of chords, drum loop and bass line, and while playing back, it just repeats those 4 measures over and over again in a loop. They are just starting points to give you ideas There are 32 beats inspired by the music we play as electronic music DJs, 24 designed for upbeat pop music and dancehall, 11 designed for drum and bass and latin grooves, 9 for reggae, 12 for trap and hip hop.Īll of them are customizable because music sounds better when you don't use presets. I am on the fence atm but it does look easy and nicely layed out. Another idea I had was what about we come up with the Meledy and the software come up with the Drums,Bass etc? a bit like an Auto Sketch/Idea from the software, not knowing anything about CODE (ZX81 basic is about as savy as I get lol) is this even poss. From what I have seen there are only 5 or 6 Drum Loops? if there is one area I really struggle it's drum lines so if the software had more it would be more appealing to me.
